I saw these in my last issue of Cooking Light and thought they sounded great. I love oats and cranberries so it seemed like a good combination to me! I really enjoyed these bars and definitely recommend them if you are looking for a lighter dessert. In fact, the oats make them seem like an okay substitute for breakfast! Well, at least that is what I am telling myself. You can find the recipe here at the Cooking Light website. The only thing I did differently is make them in an 8x8 pan, which I recommend. I definitely would not have been able to cover the bottom of an 11x7 pan which the recipe calls for.
